VestaDAO Re-launches!
We won’t be too self indulgent on this one, but yes, we have relaunched! If somehow this article is the first you’ve ever heard of us then we’d love it if you took a moment to find out what we’re all about! Some great starting points would be reading about our Misssion Statement and/or the About Us page!
In brief you can expect this site and our social channels to act as a hub of all things going on in the Metis ecosystem. We have a commitment to no nonsense, easy to understand information.
imToken Wallet integration with Metis:
ImToken Wallet is coming to Metis Andromeda. imToken provides both a non-custodial “hot wallet” as well as hardware wallets. Both are packed with useful features – especially for those looking to manage large portfolios or multiple accounts accross multiple chains.

The part we assume most of our readers (both of them) will care about is that imToken Wallet currently has 15 million users. This means 15 million people are gaining easy access to everything on Metis.
API3 Metis integration:
API3’s Oracle Stack is now available on Metis, providing developers with reliable, decentralized data feeds (dAPIs) directly from data providers. The API3 Market makes it easy for developers to find and use various data feeds, such as crypto and stock prices.
API3 focuses on minimizing the value loss for dApps around oracle updates, referred to as oracle extractable value (OEV). The solution, called OEV Network, will allow dApps to auction off the rights to update oracles when it is most valuable, and receive the proceeds of these auctions.
This is particularly valuable for borrowing/lending platforms, stablecoins, and DeFi projects—basically, any project that benefits from accurate, up-to-date price information.
Furthermore, by providing consistent on-chain data, API3 makes it easier for existing dApps to migrate to Metis from other EVM chains.

Lofi Llama's are coming!
Layer 2 LoFi Llamas is an NFT collection featuring unique llamas working at LoFi Llama Records. The project will have a rich backstory tied to roles in the music industry, inspired by the mythologies of Vesta and Metis.
The collection includes an accompanying beat tape by our very own Cobi, and features giveaways with VestaDAO, BlockChat, Cerus, Yeti-Apes, and Monkex communities.
