Our breakdowns fall in to two main categories; First Impressions and Deep Dives. Here’s how we define them:
First Impressions;
A First Impression is literally that. One of our news team will spend roughly one hour glancing over a project. This is about the amount of time your average investor might spend before deciding whether a project is for them (sadly probably longer).
First Impression reviews are designed to not only save our readers that hour, but also give feedback to the project in question’s team on what kind of message they’re giving out. They are ideally a precursor to a Deep Dive. First Impressions will never have their content edited.
Deep Dives;
Deep Dive reviews are where we take the time to really dig in to a project; its team, what it does, its tokenomics and whether its token has any tangible value. These will be formed over the course of about a week and will include at least an attempt to contact the project in question’s team.
Deep Dives are designed to inform on what we feel about a project’s place in the Metis Ecosystem – they will include a score for different areas. Whilst Deep Dives may be useful as part of more complete research they are not infallible and are definitely not financial advice.
Deep Dives will be editted in instances that a mistake or misunderstanding comes to light (for instance if they project’s team corrects something and we independently confirm that correction.
